Controller vs. processor
For personal data collected through the Site (for example, a demo request), NovaTalent is the controller. When an employer uses the Service to evaluate applicants, that employer is the controller of the candidate data and NovaTalent acts as a processor on their behalf, under our Data Processing Agreement. If you are a candidate, please direct data requests to the organisation you applied to; we will support them in responding.
What we collect
- Demo / contact requests: your name, work email, company, team size (optional), and any message you send us.
- Analytics (only with your consent): usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location, via cookies. These are not set unless you opt in.
- Essential cookies: the minimum required for the Site to function and to remember your cookie choice.
- Candidate data (in the Service, as processor): CVs, application details, AI-interview recordings/transcripts, and scores, processed on behalf of the employer. Demographic signals are stripped before scoring.
How we use it and our legal bases
- To respond to demo requests and contact you about them — our legitimate interest, or steps taken at your request prior to a contract.
- To measure and improve the Site — only where you have given consent (analytics cookies).
- To secure the Site and prevent abuse — our legitimate interest.
- To provide the Service to employers — under our contract with the employer (they determine candidate-data purposes).
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use candidate data to train models.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to run the Site. Non-essential (analytics/marketing) cookies load only after you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Cookie settings in the footer. See details in our [Cookie Policy] if published separately.
Sharing and processors
We share personal data only with providers that help us run the Site and Service, under contract:
- Web3Forms — delivers demo-form submissions to our team.

International transfers

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Site and Service are not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy; we will change the “last updated” date and, where required, notify you.
